What drives housing returns? What predicts changes in housing prices? According to Dragana Cvijanovic and her real estate finance research, much of the dynamics of house prices can be explained by fundamentals such as demographic change.

Laoucine Kerbache and his co-authors set out to assess the use of the Japanese concept of Kaizen, considered a key element in the competitiveness of Japanese companies. Their research led them to propose a classification that may help academics and managers to use different Kaizen perspectives and tools more wisely.

Two-tier competition, Putting an end to oligarchies

How do you get competitive markets when firms that sell an end product control the means of production (as is the case with the heavyweights of mobile telephony in France)? For Johan Hombert and his co-authors, the solution cannot be reduced to simply forcing integrated firms to provide the means of production to other isolated firms.
