CCIP Department for Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Chair Holders: Frédéric Iselin, Affiliate Professor of HEC Paris, Director of the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Centre; Maria Bonnafous-Boucher, Director of Research at ADVANCIA-NEGOCIA, Jacqueline Fendt, Professor at ESCP Europe.

Launched in December 2006 by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP), the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Chair brings together the expertise of sixty professors, spread across four schools: HEC Paris, ESCP Europe, ESIEE Paris, ADVANCIA NEGOCIA. The Chair's goal is to promote research in the field of business innovation, a discipline which is still in its infancy in France, but which has seen considerable investment elsewhere in the world. It also aims to enhance the visibility and influence of academic research in the business world. Since its foundation, the department has supported fifteen projects focusing on five key areas of research: entrepreneurship and finance, entrepreneurship and innovation, entrepreneurship and public action, law and business finance, entrepreneurial spirit and risk-taking.
