Walid Alissa joined HEC in 2009. His research is focused on empirical/archival financial accounting, with emphasis on corporate governance (particularly, executive compensation), corporate disclosure, the impact of regulation, and accounting irregularities. Walid earned his bachelor's in electrical engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. After working nearly three years in the filed, Walid left to earn his MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2003 and his Ph.D. from the Pennsylvania State University in 2009. |
