Claire DAMBRIN is an assistant professor in the accounting and management control department. She defended her Ph.D. in management control at University Paris Dauphine in 2005. At HEC, she teaches management accounting and management control. Her main research interests deal with control at a distance in various contexts (organizations, virtual communities). More precisely, she studies technologies of control at a distance, their socio-institutional impact, and their outcomes such as self-regulatory behaviors. Overall, Claire is interested in socio-institutional aspects of accounting and management control systems. Another part of Claire's research deals with gender issues in the accounting profession.
