Thomas Jeanjean is Associate Professor of Accounting at HEC School of Management, Paris, France. Before joining HEC in 2003, he was a student at the Ecole Normale Supérieure (in Cachan), where he also taught. He holds a Masters degree and a Ph.D in Management from the University of Paris Dauphine (France). In 2008/2009, he is participating to the ITP (International Teachers Program) organized by the SDA Bocconi in Milan. He has participated in the European Accounting Association doctoral colloquium and in the American Accounting Association doctoral consortium.
Thomas Jeanjean teaches financial accounting and financial analysis in various programs at HEC Paris (MS in Finance, HEC Master of Science in Management). He also participates to the PhD. Program in financial accounting.
His interests cover international accounting, quality of financial information (earnings management) and accounting for intangibles (R&D reporting). His research appeared in the International Journal of Accounting, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Review of Accounting and Finance and European Accounting Review. He has been appointed member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Accounting since beginning 2008 and serves as a referee for numerous reviews.
