EQUISAssociation of MBAsAACSB
HEC, affiliated to Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Paris
HEC is the first business school in France to have received the prestigious triple accreditation from AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA.

- The Association of MBAs (AMBA): HEC MBA accredited in 1992 and re-accredited in 1999 and 2004, HEC Executive MBA CPA accredited in 2002 and re-accredited in 2004.

- The European accreditation EQUIS from EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development): accredited in 1998, re-accredited in 2003 and 2008.

- The American Accreditation AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accredited in 2000.


The Faculty

Over 100 permanent-tenure professors teach on the various programs, organize scientific conferences, publish research articles in refereed journals and are involved in the editorial board of international academic reviews. HEC hosts visiting professors from the most prestigious international Universities and regularly awards the "Honoris Causa" to prominent professors teaching in France and abroad. (Jay O.LIGHT - Professor, Harvard Business School, Robert ENGLE - Professor, New York University and Nobel Prize in Economics (2003), Michael C. JENSEN - Emeritus Professor, Harvard Business School, Dr. Muhammad YUNUS - Professor, University of Colorado, founder of Grameen Bank, Nobel Prize in Peace (2006)).

Research is a key dimension : 300 articles published in refereed international journals the last five years, 110 books published in French and 15 other languages the last five years of which the principles reference works (Strategor, Mercator, International Investment, etc.), 230 scientific presentations in international conferences the last 2 years. HEC ranked first in European Financial Research by the Journal of Finance paying tribute to HEC's Academic Excellence.


HEC Masters Degrees

- MSc in Management, “Grande Ecole” degree is an 18-month program, designed for students who hold a Bachelor’s degree in any field. The 1st year is comprised of general business courses; the 2nd year is devoted to the student’s area of specialization and research project.

- Masters of Science are one-year pre-experience full-time programs in English designed for student who hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business and who want to acquire an expertise in a specific field of management: International Business, Managerial and Financial Economics and Finance.
New Masters in September 2009 in Marketing, Strategic Management and Sustainable Development.


- HEC Specialized Masters
HEC Specialized Masters are 12-months courses in French and English. They are designed for students at postgraduate level who want to acquire high-level expertise and professional know-how in their chosen specialization: Auditing, Digital business strategy, Entrepreneurship, Global sourcing and supply chainInformation systems management, International finance, International risks management, Large projects management, Law and international management, Marketing intelligenceStrategic management, Sustainable development


HEC MBA

The full-time MBA program constitutes 16 months of general management in an international environment. Strong emphasis is placed on interpersonal skills, leadership and entrepreneurship.
Designed to optimize both professional and personal ambitions, the part-time MBA program
offers the opportunity to work in a multicultural and diverse business-learning environment while maintaining a full-time job.


The HEC Ph.D.

The Ph.D. program shapes professor-researchers, offering high quality internationally renowned training. It is a highly selective program with 15 to 20 candidates admitted each year. 80% of the graduates work on the international academic scene.


HEC Executive Education

HEC Executive Education spans a wide range of degree and non-degree programs specifically designed for experienced managers and executives. In addition to EMBAs and Executive Masters Programs, HEC Executive Education offers Open-Enrolment Programs, Custom Programs and Coaching.

- HEC Executive MBA
The HEC EMBA is a multi-site degree program that is designed to propel mid-career professionals onto the executive board level. The program is offered in Paris, Beijing, Shanghai and Saint Petersburg with three flexible formats in several languages.

- TRIUM Global Executive MBA
TRIUM Global EMBA is a joint degree developed by HEC Paris, New York University Stern School of Business (NYU Stern) and the London School of Economics (LSE), specially designed for global executives and CEOs.

- Specialized Executive Masters Degrees
These Executive Master programs are post-graduate degree programs providing supplementary training in specific areas of management:
Consulting & Coaching for Change (in partnership with Oxford Executive Education), Business Unit Management, Global Sourcing - Supply Chain, Human Resources Management, Marketing and Business Development, Corporate Finance, IS Management (in partnership with Mines ParisTech) and Reinventing Management

- Open-enrolment Programs
Open-enrolment programs are specific short courses to strengthen managerial skills from 3 to 20 days, held in Paris and Beijing. Among them, more than 20 Management Certificate Programs and 80 short executive seminars allow participants to enhance their knowledge in a specific field.

- Custom Programs are tailored and delivered to the precise specifications of the customer company.

Internationalization

HEC has established prestigious strategic alliances and academic partnerships with more than 130 institutions worldwide. At all levels, international exchanges, dual-degree programs and joint-degree options are offered in partnership with renowned partner institutions worldwide.

- PIM network (Partnership in International Management) is a consortium of more than 50 world-class business schools.

- CEMS network (Community of European Management Schools) is a strategic alliance of 27 most renowned academic institutions in the world and more than 50 international companies.

- Bilateral agreements and double degrees.

HEC Paris has also developed various renowned centers of expertise,
such as the “Visions of Leadership” Center with L’Oréal, the HEC Hedge Fund Center with the BNP Paribas bank, the HEC Europe Institute and the Eurasia Institute, among others.

HEC Foundation is sponsored by a group of prestigious multinational companies which supports HEC's ambitions, participating in its strategic orientation and providing a direct link between the academic and business world.


The HEC Alumni Association

The HEC Alumni network is among the largest in Europe with 42 000 Alumni based in 113 countries. It was founded in 1883 to develop a powerful and dynamic lifelong connection to the HEC community. The HEC alumni network promotes global awareness of the HEC name and supports HEC's future development.
