Olivier Dessaint is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Toronto. His research interests include corporate finance and behavioral finance. His recent work examines how information processing by firm managers impacts corporate policies. He holds a Ph.D. in finance from HEC Paris, a M.Sc. in management from ESSEC, and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from La Sorbonne University. Before beginning his doctoral studies at HEC Paris, Professor Dessaint was an investment banker at BNP Paribas.
