Rodolphe Durand

Rodolphe Durand ©HEC Paris

Professor of Strategy, Rodolphe Durand joined HEC Paris in 2004. With an MSc and Ph.D from HEC and a Master of Philosophy from Sorbonne, Rodolphe Durand is also qualified to supervise research work (Université Lyon III). In 2008, he founded the Society and Organizations Center. Internationally respected for his work on the sources of competitive advantage, his most recent books The pirate organization  (2013) and Organizations, Strategy and Society: The Orgology of Disorganized Worlds  (2015) explore issues arising from the decline of ideologies, the legitimacy of management and the evolution of capitalism.
