Tina M. Lowrey is professor of Marketing at HEC Paris. Before joining HEC Paris in 2013, she taught in several different universities in the U.S., including the University of Texas, the University of Pennsylvania, the NYU Stern School of Business, and in Australia at the University of Sydney. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois. Her research areas are the gift giving and ritual, the application of psycholinguistic theory to marketing communications, and the children's understanding of brand symbolism.
