Afshin Mehrpouya @HECParis

Afshin Mehrpouya is professor of accounting and management control at HEC Paris, which he joined in 2011. He obtained his doctorate in medical studies from Tehran University in 2000, then received his MBA from York University in Canada in 2007 and his Ph.D. in business administration from France's ESSEC in 2011. His research focuses on performance measurement and its role in transnational governance, construction of rankings (notably in the health sector), transparency as a tool of governance and socially responsible investment.
