Corey Phelps is Professor of Strategy and Business Policy at HEC. His current research focuses on understanding how companies use strategy alliances, mergers and acquisitions, and minority equity investments in start-ups to enhance their performance. Before joining HEC in 2009, Corey Phelps taught at the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. He holds an MBA from San Diego State University and a PhD in Business Administration from New York University.
