In cooperation with world class professors the students hone their abilities to understand and solve problems in a fast-pace environment

HEC Paris stellar reputation as one of the best business schools in Europe together with France’s long tradition of excellence in education initially attracted me to study here.

As I learned more about the program I became convinced that HEC would provide an environment to immerse myself in rigorous academics while also benefiting from the tremendous number of activities held on campus. Thus the choice of HEC Paris and the Master in Management – Grande Ecole program was made.

While the array of courses students cover in a short period of time provides a good knowledge of a wide spectrum of management issues, the fast pace and academic approach sharpened my problem solving and multi-tasking skills.

During my specialization year in the Master in Management program, I had the chance to pursue a double degree at MIT Sloan School of Management.  MIT is an international business school with emphasis on “hands and mind”. The school aims at transforming students into business leaders by providing them with up to date practical management tools that can be used on day one in students’ subsequent professional careers. This year at MIT really enriched my management skills.

My job at Scandza involves M&A and managing several portfolio companies. While I constantly learn and improve, my educational experiences have provided me with a solid base for performing and developing. An elite institution like HEC brings together diverse people who all are ambitious and have bright minds. In cooperation with world class professors the students hone their abilities to understand and solve problems in a fast-pace environment while also learning hard skills (like Finance). All have been essential in the pursuit of my career goals.
