  • Why did you choose to apply for the HEC Luxury Certificate program?

I chose to apply for the HEC Luxury Certificate because the program is renowned both for its top-notch professors and for the prestige of the guest speakers who bring their real-world experience into the classroom. After three internships in the luxury industry, I wanted the best possible preparation for a long-term career in luxury management, and applying for the HEC Luxury Certificate seemed like a logical next step.

  • What are the most important personal and professional experiences that you have taken away from your time at HEC?

The diverse range of classes gave me a solid theoretical basis for my analysis of the luxury sector. Additionally, the frequent guest speakers allowed me to understand the industry through a variety of perspectives, from identifying new markets with Louis de Mackenheim, Boucheron's Marketing Director, to learning about brand development from Louis Beveridge, Communications Director for Kering. We also had the opportunity to meet one of the rare entrepreneurs of the luxury industry, Bell & Ross founder Carlos Rosillo.

  • What is your definition and vision of luxury ?

My vision of luxury is greatly influenced by my own professional background in the hospitality business. Luxury must offer its clients an experience that they will cherish forever. In the future, I would like to help build a luxury industry that values craftsmanship and passes its savoir-faire onto future generations.
