Google Creativity Talks with Jean-Pierre Dick

  • This Wednesday at 12 in room 36, we'll be far from the web but yet at the very core of Entrepreneurship with the presence of the French Sailor Jean-Pierre Dick.

Jean-Pierre graduated from his MBA in 1987 and has been sailing ever since. His team (or "écurie") has accomplished mind-blowing races and as we speak the young Benoît Marie just won the "MiniTransat", sailing the Atlantic Ocean alone on a 6.5m boat.

Jean-Pierre has an amazing track record of races as he won the Transat Jacques Vabre more than 3 times (last time in 2011) or the Barcelona World Race in 2010-2011.
He was named the French Sailor of the year in 2011 and is incredibly inspiring when it comes to following one's dream !

Jean-Pierre is also an entrepreneur as he's building the beautiful JP54 yacht boat. Please note Jean-Pierre will be coming with his HEC friend and cofounder Luc Talbourdet.

Alliances for Cities in Transition

  • HEC Paris' Society & Organizations (SnO) Center and HEC Alumni are pleased to announce the theme for their annual conference:

    Alliances for Cities in Transition

Cities faced with an urgent, massive and wicked  challenge: to achieve carbon neutrality while ensuring the inclusion and empowerment of all their citizens. To wicked challenges, complex solutions: transitioning to new city models will not be achieved without the persistent and convergent mobilization of all actors: citizens and the civil society, public, private, investors, researchers...
