Guided tour of the exhibition titled Economie Humaine, organized by Hélène Maslard, project manager at the Contemporary Art Space.
This exhibition takes a look at the relationships artists have with the corporate world and, more broadly, with the economy.
"But why this exhibition? To demonstrate that the economy is not absent from the concerns of many contemporary artists. To show how the artistic vision of the economy eventually “humanizes” it. By imitating it, by subverting it, by broadening its practices sometimes to an absurd extent, by making it a subject not of tension but of relaxation..." note Paul Ardenne, curator of the exhibition, and Barbara Polla, associate curator.
Among the 22 artists who are contributing to this exhibition, some are world-renowned, such as Hervé Fischer, Lucy + Jorge, Conrad Bakker, and Burak Harikan.
Sign-up is compulsory. NB: to make the exhibition more easily viewable, the number of visitors is limited.
