Entrepreneurship at HEC Paris: new projects & opportunities

Entrepreneurship is back on campus! Come and join us for the kick-off. Here's the program of our very exclusive night on the campus:

  • - 7:30PM-8PM: Intro to entrepreneurship, what do we have for you in the coming months?
    - 8PM-9PM: "Student & entrepreneur, what if it was the best timing?", with:
    Coline Debayle (H13), entrepreneur & founder of ARTIPS. Coline started her company at a Startup Weekend less than two years ago and is now spreading the concept across Europe.
    Grégoire Chauvin (H14), entrepreneur & founder UPPLER. Still a student when he started, Grégoire graduated a couple of months ago and his company is already up and coming.
    Diana Filipova (H11), connector à OUISHARE. After a couple of years spend working at Bercy, Diana is now one of the lead strategist at Ouishare, a great Think Tank around Collaborative Consumption.
    - 9PM-9:45PM: Bertrand Jelensperger (entrepreneur and founder of Lafourchette.com - sold for $150m to TripAdvisor earlier this year). La Fourchette is an online restaurant booking platform with a network of more than 12,000 restaurant partners across Europe that Bertrand led for 9 years.

Alliances for Cities in Transition

HEC Paris' Society & Organizations (SnO) Center and HEC Alumni are pleased to announce the theme for their annual conference:
Alliances for Cities in Transition.

  • Cities are faced with an urgent, massive and wicked  challenge: achieve carbon neutrality while ensuring the inclusion and empowerment of all their citizens. To wicked challenges, complex solutions: transitioning to new city models will not be achieved without the persistent and convergent mobilization of all actors: citizens and the civil society, public, private, investors, researchers...

    HEC Paris sheds light on multi-actor initiatives that aim to build the sustainable, inclusive and resilient cities of tomorrow.
    Join us on October 19th to exchange on the following topics:

    • What is our shared vision for future cities?
    • How to catalyze multi-stakeholder collaboration for impact? Which engagement and governance models?
    • Which business models and funding tools will do transition ?
    • … And what about HEC Paris’ territorial footprint?

    Paris-Saclay, is a research-intensive and business cluster currently under construction, a project with national and international ambitions, addressing a public interest challenge. It encompasses research facilities, universities, French higher education institutions (grandes écoles as Polytechnique "X" or ENSAE statistics school) and also research centers of private companies wih the objective to catalyze public-private collaborations and researchers-entrepreneurs initiatives.
