HEC Débats welcomes Jacques Attali

  • HEC Débats - Jacques Attali

Jacques ATTALI, former counselor to François Mitterrand, is back with fresh ideas on how he believes the French economy can be revived in 2017. With several years of experience working for the Government and a myriad of academic publications under his belt, this ENA and Polytechnique alumnus is nothing short of being a brilliant economist. Attali is also a self-professed ardent supporter of Positive Economics and Founder of Action against Hunger and Planet Positive, an NGO that uses microfinance to combat poverty. This discussion represents an exclusive opportunity to hear the views of an economist and statesman on topical issues such as Europe, Brexit, and the political forces in France in light of the presidential elections in 8 months’ time.

The conference is open to everyone.

Non-HEC members must sign up here.

  • Cities are faced with an urgent, massive and wicked  challenge: achieve carbon neutrality while ensuring the inclusion and empowerment of all their citizens. To wicked challenges, complex solutions: transitioning to new city models will not be achieved without the persistent and convergent mobilization of all actors: citizens and the civil society, public, private, investors, researchers...
