HEC Business Game 2016

  • On April 29th-30th 2016, HEC Paris proudly organises the second edition of its real-life case competition, the HEC Business Game, with around 150 participants selected from a large sample of applicants from all around the world.


    CHALLENGE YOURSELF
    During the HEC Business Game, you will be confronted with 5 very different challenges. In only a few hours, steer everyone in the same direction and present your findings.

    CONNECT TO THE CORPORATE WORLD
    The perfect opportunity to meet and convince top tier firms. Follow their tips, present in front of them and exchange business cards. If you impress them, it is very likely that you will see them again!

    LEARN DIFFERENTLY
    The focus being on real-life business cases, you will get a real sense on how to tackle everyday problems. During the challenge, you will be put in the employee’s shoes and asked to deliver the same level of quality.

    ENJOY THE MOMENT
    A unique experience which will leave you with lifetime memories. The HEC Business Game is a chance to meet top students from all over the world and have fun with them. Work hard, play hard!

Africa Days 2017: Africa – Land of Entrepreneurial Initiatives

"Africa – Land of Entrepreneurial Initiatives" will be the central theme of AfricaDays@HECParis, which takes place from 15 to 17 May 2017 on the HEC Paris campus.


  • Three evenings of discussion and debate to answer the challenges and opportunities presented by the Africa of the future. The overarching theme will be that of the entrepreneurial dynamism of the continent and its diaspora.

    Leaders, entrepreneurs, bankers, economists and experts from the continent, as well as young startups from all walks of life, will come to demonstrate their commitment to the development of Africa. They will also shed light on new entrepreneurial trends and the keys to their success.
    Africa Days will also be an opportunity to gather the significant partnership ecosystem of HEC Paris, and focus on the three new strategic areas for the development of HEC Paris outlined by Dean Peter Todd - Entrepreneurship, Digital Transformation and Social Responsibility. All three are key areas of development for the African continent.
    ​Accompanying these determined entrepreneurs and innovative initiatives, Africa Days @HECParis can act as a platform for growth for all those who wish to contribute to the Africa of the 21st Century.

Netexplo Forum 2017

  • The Netexplo Forum is the annual event on global digital innovation at UNESCO House, Paris. 

    Over two days attendees can share a year's observation of tech around the world, discover the 10 most promising initiatives of the year and the major trends in tomorrow's digital world. 

    See you on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th April, 2017 at UNESCO House, where entrepreneurs, researchers, philosophers, sociologists, journalists and executives explain and analyse how digital tech is shaping our world.

Uni'run - The first charity race at HEC Paris

The first charity race will be on Saturday 22nd of April 2017 on HEC Campus and will be open to everyone. It will fund three participant organizations’ projects in the fight against child cancer: Imagine for Margo, Cheer Up and Rêve d’Enfance. These three astounding associations are involved in various aspects of fighting against this disease: research, children’s support during and after hospital visits.

  • Uni'Run HEC Paris 2017

    Uni’Run is a student initiative that aims to collaborate around a sporting and charity event at HEC. The event, hosted by many HEC associations, assures to be festive and friendly. Everyone is invited to this amazing sporting challenge.

    Come run and give the best of yourself to support sick children. There will be two courses proposed: 5km or 10km.

    Because of the commitment of the runners, this will also be a solidarity challenge. Registration (15 €) is on www.unirun2017.com where you can also create or join a fundraising page to raise funds donated in full to the beneficiaries associations.

    On the program: race, country lunch, fanfares, pompons, music, inflatable games and cotton candy - all facilitated by the student associations of HEC!

HEC Business Game 2017

During the 7th and 8th or April, almost 200 students from top universities in the world are coming to the HEC campus for the 3rd edition of the HEC Business Game.

  • During the two days of the event, participants will be stimulated to come up with disruptive solutions for our 5 challenges sponsored by Bain &Company, Schneider Electric, Earlybird Venture Capital, Gameloft, Klépierre and IBM and pitch their ideas.

Conference in Berlin: "Building resilience in society and organizations"

To evolve in our volatile, uncertain and complex world, it has become necessary to develop the capacity to adapt constantly with agility, and even be resilient in front of today’s major changes and challenges: geopolitical ,environmental, social and societal ones. This resilience is to build at different levels: society, organizations (international organizations, states, cities, firms, associations,etc.). It requires also the ability of individuals to adopt new resilient behaviors. How can this key capacity be developed at these different levels? this is what we propose to explore to get her during this conference, with operational actors, academics and witnesses.

    Rodolphe Durand
    Professor in Strategy and Business Policy at HECParis. Currently is the HEC Foundation Chaired Professor of Strategy at HEC Paris and the academic director of the Society and Organizations Center (SnO) which he launched in 2009.

    Affiliate professor in Strategy and Business Policy at HEC Paris. Co-Founder of the MSc in Sustainable Development and of the ‘Social Business, Enterprise and Poverty’ Chair, Bénédicte Faivre-Tavignot is Executive Director of the SnO Center.
