Further to the 2012 US Presidential Election, the conference will focus on the US Energy and Climate Change policies and the extent to which they are to affect the EU policies and business.

Where is the US energy sector heading for?  What are the consequences of the shale gas revolution on the US economy and environment? What consequences will the US energy independence have on the rest of the world? What policy initiatives are the US and the EU considering with a view to moving to a low carbon economy?
