10th anniversary of HEC Paris MSc in Sustainable Development: Training managers to become key players in business transformation

The celebrations for the 10th anniversary of the MSc in Sustainable Development (MISD) took place at the Jardin d’Acclimatation , in Paris on Friday 23rd  May. Alumni and teachers were both in attendance for a day full of networking.

By creating a Master in Sustainable Development (MISD) in 2004, HEC Paris has proved itself as an educational pioneer for societal issues. For ten years, the program has attracted students from the world’s top universities, with a strong desire to combine entrepreneurial spirit and social responsibility. To mark the 10th  anniversary of this porgram, the MISD decided to celebrate the occasion in an iconic Parisian venue: the Jardin d’Acclimation .

During this special day, MISD alumni and current students had the opportunity to participate in various activities, including open discussions with Keynote Speakers: Nathalie MEUZY (Head of the Coordination Office on Sustainable Development, European Space Agency (ESA)), Tristan LECOMTE (CEO, Alter Eco), and Maximilien ROUER (Chairman and Founding Partner, BeCitizen).

In an interview (Master in Sustainable Development website), Bénédicte Faivre-Tavignot, Academic Director of the MISD described the HEC Master as "one of the few programs in the world where lessons include both an environmental and social dimension."
