HEC Paris’ Entrepreneurship Track Program selected as Tsinghua University’s best training program.

19 March 2012

HEC Paris’ “Entrepreneurship Track Program” (ETP) has just been selected as Tsinghua University’s best training program, in recognition of its impact and accomplishments. Over thirty programs from different schools competed for this annual award at the Tsinghua University. However, as an integral partner of ‘10,000 Women’, the ETP stood out amongst all of these programs thanks to its emphasis on women entrepreneurs, the diversity of its pedagogical techniques and its wrap around services. Since it was first developed in 2009, by the Tsinghua University and HEC Paris, the ETP in Beijing has helped participating women advance their individual entrepreneurial skills as well as form powerful teams to leverage and combine their prior experiences. This, in turn, has helped them present sound business plans - a crucial first step in starting a company.

The program’s success would not have been possible without HEC Paris’ support and Goldman Sachs' commitment. However, the ETP is to come to an end in April, when HEC Paris Business and strategy Associate Professor, Oliver Gottschalg will go there for one last time to teach his sessions. After this, HEC's role in creating the program and knowledge transfer will be completed.
