24 June 2013

The Financial Times has just published its global ranking of pre-experience Global Masters in Finance programs . HEC Paris is ranked #1 worldwide for the 3rd consecutive year. This ranking is based on graduate career progress, international mobility and international diversity of students in the program and the institution.

With regard to the criterion of international student diversity, the proportion of international students studying for a Master of Science (MSc) in International Finance at HEC Paris has increased steadily over the past few years to reach 73% in 2013. Graduates from other prestigious institutions, such as Wharton, Yale, London School of Economics (LSE) and Cambridge, will be perfecting their knowledge in Finance at HEC Paris in the next intake.

“We are honored to receive 1st place for the third consecutive year, especially as this ranking is due to the success of our graduates  and the high quality of training that they receive at HEC”, says Jacques Olivier, Professor of Finance and Program Director of HEC Paris Masters in International Finance. “This result encourages us to continuously improve and become more innovative in order to meet the growing demands of a more international public each year.

Prof. Bernard Ramanantsoa, Dean of HEC Paris, adds: “Finance and economics have always been essential components of HEC Paris' DNA. This latest recognition in the Financial Times rankings proves that HEC Paris can compete alongside world leaders in business education”.
