HEC Paris’ Pre-experience Global Masters in Finance ranked #1 worldwide

23 June 2014

The Financial Times has ranked HEC Paris #1 worldwide for its pre-experience Global Masters in Finance programs for the 4th consecutive year. This ranking is based on graduate career progress, international mobility and international diversity of students in the program and the institution as a whole.

The HEC Paris MSc in International Finance (MIF) is a highly selective program, with 80% of its student body coming from outside France. Students acquire both strong theoretical grounding taught by world class researchers and ‘hands-on’ knowledge with courses taught by top practitioners. They find jobs in investment banks, consulting firms and multinational corporations on four continents.

"I am thrilled to see that the international appeal of HEC’s MIF is increasing every year and that we are attracting students from prestigious universities such as Wharton and Yale last year or NYU and UCLA this year. I am proud that such exceptional individuals have chosen HEC Paris as the next step in their successful careers." says Jacques Olivier, Professor of Finance and Program Director of HEC Paris’ MSc in International Finance.

Professor Bernard Ramanantsoa, Dean of HEC Paris, said: "Finance and Economics have always been essential components of HEC’s DNA. Now, more so than ever, Finance is a field which requires not only skills, but more importantly passion and commitment. Today’s ranking acknowledges the high quality of our program and the success of our alumni".
