HEC Paris and IIM Ahmedabad Strategic Partnership Agreement and Double Degree Program

HEC Paris and the Indian Institute of Management ‐ Ahmedabad (IIM‐A) announced extending the co‐operation between the two leading business schools by officially signing a Strategic Partnership Agreement and opening a new double degree program on 20 October 2010 at the IIM Ahmedabad campus.

The event was witnessed by Prof Samir K. Barua, Director, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM‐A, India) and Prof Bernard Ramanantsoa, Dean, HEC Paris School of Management in the presence of faculty and staff, students and alumni from the two schools, as well as business communities and government representatives.

With trade and foreign direct investment increasing at a rapid pace between Europe and India, and with 3 years of successful collaboration between the two institutions, the Strategic Partnership Agreement is a timely one in the context of globalization of management education.

The Strategic Partnership Agreement encompasses the following areas of cooperation:

- Faculty exchange and Joint Research Projects;

- Student exchanges;

- Executive education;

- Double Degree HEC MSc in Management ‐ Grande Ecole and IIM‐A Post Graduate Program in Management (PGP).
