“Knowledge, Networks, and Knowledge Networks: A Review and Research Agenda” co-authored by Corey Phelps, Associate Professor at HEC Paris

23 May 2012

Corey Phelps, Associate Professor in the department of Strategy and Business Policy at HEC Paris, recently co-authored a research article with Ralph Heidl, from Michigan State University and Anu Wadhwa from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale in Lausanne.

In the article the authors review and analyze empirical research on “knowledge networks” – this is the term they use to refer to networks of social relationships among individuals, groups or organizations that are influential in explaining the processes of knowledge creation, diffusion, absorption, and use. The article was first published online on 5 January 2012 and a paper copy is set to be published in the Journal of Management in July this year.
