Professor Rodolphe Durand has received an Emerald Management Reviews Citation of Excellence Award for his article "Causation, Counterfactuals and Competitive Advantage"

Rodolphe Durand, Professor of Strategy and Business Policy at HEC Paris, has received an Emerald Management Reviews Citation of Excellence Award for his article "Causation, Counterfactuals and Competitive Advantage" published in Strategic Management Journal (volume 30-issue 12), selected as one of the top 50 best articles from the 15,000 articles published in 2009 in management.

Professor Durand had previously received the HEC Foundation Award 2009 for his article "Do Science and Money Go Together. The Case of the French Biotech Industry".

Emerald Management Reviews is an abstracting and indexing database that covers every article in the top 400 business and management journals world-wide including titles such as: Harvard Business Review; Journal of Finance; Journal of Marketing; Strategic Management Journal; MIT Sloan Management Review; Long Range Planning; Academy of Management Journal; and MIS Quarterly.
