Social Selling: a Presentation of Professor Dominique Rouziès at the Institut de France

On May 6, 2015, Dominique Rouziès, EDF Chair Professor at HEC Paris, unveiled her recent study on social media use in sales organizations. The study, published in partnership with Novamétrie, Adobe, AXA and Viadeo, was presented at the Science and Education Chair Conference of the EDF Foundation, with the Institut de France.

The conference was focused on the theme of ‘Uncertainty and Decision-Making’ in business models related to sustainable development and the shift to non-fossil sources of energy. The conference was hosted by Gabriel de Broglie, Chancellor of the Institut de France and Jean-Bernard Levy, Chief Executive Officer of EDF and President of the EDF Foundation.

Presentations focused on reducing uncertainty in the face of increasingly complex environmental and business landscapes.  The roundtable sessions brought together academics and executives to discuss ‘International outlooks through education’ and ‘Future exploration and developing capacity for adaptation’.
