On the occasion of an open lecture held at the Lomonosov Moscow State University’s Faculty of Political Sciences (MSU) and given by Professor Bernard Ramanantsoa, Dean of HEC Paris the two academic institutions signed a general Agreement of Cooperation.

In the framework of a common policy of international development, the agreement includes student and faculty exchanges, joint research activities, collaboration on curriculum development, and organization of joint academic and scientific events, such as summer schools and symposiums. It will also open new options for students of both institutions pursuing an international career.

“We are quite aware of the reputation of HEC Paris School of Management,” asserts Professor Nikolay Semin, MSU Pro-Rector for International Affairs, “and a collaboration between HEC Paris and Lomonosov State University is highly welcome. This agreement will also contribute to strengthening the traditional friendship between France and Russia.”

“We would like to consider it as a first step towards cooperation between two major educational institutions,” states Professor Andrey Yu. Shutov, Dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences at Lomonosov State University, “and we are very much looking forward to further developing closer links through academic, cultural and scientific collaboration.”

The agreement constitutes a significant step forward in the relationships between HEC Paris and Russia. "This agreement,” says Dean Bernard Ramanantsoa, “meets the academic requirements of both institutions and responds well to student demand and to the needs of both national and international companies; it marks a new step in the development of HEC Paris in Russia."
