HEC Paris and Queen’s School of Business announce double degree

19 October 2009

The signing ceremony took place in Paris on October 8th, 2009, at HEC with representatives from both schools and the CanadianEmbassy in attendance.

In 2007, Queen's Business School introduced Canada’s first-ever Master of Global Management (MGM), a 12-month program that prepares graduates for a career in international business. There is such a strong need for global business knowledge in Canada that Procter & Gamble, the leading consumer products company in the country, funded the start of the program with a grant of $150,000.

HEC has also a renowned and long-established tradition of training international students for international careers in business.

Both Deans, Bernard Ramanantsoa at HEC Paris and David Saunders at Queen’s School of Business, created this double degree option to help familiarize their students with the business environment in North America and Europe, respectively.

Students will be required to spend at least one semester at the partner school. The HEC Paris-Queen’s School of Business double degree will be open to students as of September 2010.
