New partnership between Togo’s public and private sectors and HEC Paris

On Thursday 18th March 2010, HEC Paris had the honor of welcoming on campus Guy Madjé Lorenzo, Minister of Trade and Private Sector’s Promotion and special adviser to the President of the Republic of Togo; Ninsao Gnofam, Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Reform; Mongo Aharh Kpessou, Secretary of State delegated by the Finance and Economy Minister; Tchao Sotou Bere, Ambassador of Togo in France; Jonathan Fiawoo, President of the Togo Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Ignace Clomegah, President of the HEC Executive Club of Lomé.

Their visit marked the official launch of a training program for more than 9,000 Togolese administrative officers designed by the professors of HEC Paris Executive Education called the “ATENS” program. This new partnership will be initiated by Togolese Ministers of Justice, Agriculture, Social Affairs, Finance, Health, Public Works, Commerce and Public Administration.

The program builds on HEC Paris AGORA programs which aim at developing a new culture of management and public administration within the administrative body of a state in Africa.
