Shanghai 2010 Award Ceremony International Business Project Competition “Entrepreneurship and the Sustainable City” |

| The Award Ceremony took place in Shanghai on July 15th at Shanghai Grand Theatre. It was hosted by Dean Qian Yingyi of Tsinghua School of Economics and Management, Dean Bernard Ramanantsoa of HEC Paris, and Xu Bo, Assistant to Commissioner General, World Expo 2010 Shanghai China, in presence of leading French architect Jean-Marie Charpentier who designed the Grand Theater of Shanghai, and more than 300 CEOS and General Managers of Chinese and foreign companies. |

| Qatar Foundation and HEC Paris finalized a partnership agreement on 22 June 2010 for HEC Paris to offer executive education programs and carry-out research activities in Qatar, making HEC Paris the first member of the Qatar Foundation Management, Education and Research Center (QF-MERC), which will eventually be home to other elite Management Institutions. |

Shanghai 2010 Award: a Worldwide Business Project Competition on ‘Entrepreneurship and the Sustainable City’ |

More than 1,000 students took part in the “Entrepreneurship and the Sustainable City” business project competition organized by HEC Paris and Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management, which ran from 8th March to 12th May 2010.
Chaired by M. Phan Nhay, Head of the Bank of China in France, and in the presence of leading French architect Jean-Marie Charpentier, the Jury took place at HEC Paris on 28th May and selected the 5 best projects for the Awards and 3 for Special Distinctions. The five winning teams will be honored on 15th July in Shanghai. |

Valery Katkalo, Dean of the Graduate School of Management (GSOM) of St Petersburg State University and Bernard Ramanantsoa, Dean of HEC Paris announce the launch of a Double Degree Master of Management and International Business.
The programme is comprised of two years’ study: one year in Paris and one year in St Petersburg. At the end of the program, successful candidates will be granted the HEC Master of Science in Management and the Master in International Business of the GSOM of St Petersburg. |
