Alberto Alemanno, Associate Professor of Law at HEC Paris since 2009, has just been awarded a Jean Monnet Chair in European Union Law and Risk Regulation from the European Commission. This award is the greatest academic recognition that a EU scholar can achieve.
Professor Alemanno is a recognized expert in both EU and Risk Regulation studies, having worked for the EU institutions in the past and published several books and seminal articles during the last decade.
