You are a native of an E.U. country or from Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, San Marino:

  • A resident permit is not compulsory.
  • You need your passport or identity card, valid for the whole duration of your stay in France.

You are a native of another country:

  • You need a valid Passport and a visa to study in France. To obtain your visa, apply to a French Consulate in your country as soon as possible.
  • An admission letter from HEC is required to obtain your visa. If further documents are necessary, do not hesitate to ask the Admissions Office of your specific program to provide them. Note that you must ask for a visa long séjour which allows you to get a carte de séjour. You will fill in an application for a carte de séjour once you arrive in France.
  • You must start the relevant procedure in order to obtain a carte de séjour as soon as you arrive in France.
