TUITION FEES
Students are required to contribute to the cost of the training by
way of annual tuition fees:
- 5,500 for each of the first two years,
- 950 for each of the following years.
FINANCIAL AID
HEC provides
financial support for all its PhD students as scholarships. This
means that during the first four years annual tuition fees are
lowered to € 240.
HEC Foundation
bursaries
The HEC Foundation was created in 1972 by the HEC Graduates
Association in order to promote management sciences. Together with
the HEC group, they grant merit-based scholarships to students in
the form of:
- 15 000€ (specialization year)
- 12 000€ (dissertation 3 years)

The previous financial supports are complemented with
HEC research and teaching
assistantships available to all doctorate students.
Financial aid from the
French government
Non-French students can, in addition to the financial aid for which
they are eligible in their country of origin, seek grants from the
French government (Ministry of Foreign Affairs). Requests should be
sent to the Cultural Department of the French Embassy in the
student’s country of origin. These students can also request
European exchange program grants (Socrates, Erasmus, Tacis, Phare)
French nationality students: where they fulfill the French Ministry
of National Education’s allocation criteria.
Other types of
funding can be obtained to encourage education abroad during
the thesis preparation period (Fulbright, Lavoisier, European
programs).
