The Silent Transformations, by François Jullien

T.Desdouits, 14 February 2016

[AMO Publication] Western thought, as much as the Greek thought from which it stems, is ontological. It isolates, it defined, it circumscribes.  For this reason, it is unable to think transitions and transformation. Chinese thought, however, because it did not take the stand of the being, can enable us to apprehend silent changes; it is a thought of polarities, of influences, of spill-overs.

Thomas Desdouits was part of the Alternative Management third year specialization program, at HEC Paris, in 2014-2015.
