HEC Paris 1st Social & Sustainable Business Week

HEC ESP'R association organizes the first edition of the 'Social and Sustainable Business Week' from 10 to 12 February 2015 which aims to make students aware of business that is as interested in economics as it is in social, human and environmental issues.

Students will have the chance to discover solutions to today's social and environmental issues through lectures, meet-and-greets and workshops. A careers fair dedicated to 'social economy' jobs will also take place during the week.The week will also see the third edition of the Social Innovation Forum. This careers fair, organized with the Social Business, Enterprise and Poverty Chair and the HEC Delegation for Equal Opportunities, gives HEC and partner school students the opportunity to meet with key actors and structures involved in the social economy.

The program:

Tuesday February 10th – 8PM :

Masterclass Sustainable Development: a new priority for companies, hosted by Benedicte Faivre-Tavignot​

Guest speaker: Chea Lun, Solidarity Sourcing Director at l’Oréal

Wednesday February 11th – 8PM :

Conference on "L’entrepreneuriat social en France : pourquoi pas vous?" with 3 successful entrepreneurs - Jean-Louis Kiehl, Jean-Michel Ricard, Matthieu Dardaillon.

Thursday February 12th – starting at 1PM:

Social & Sustainable Business Recruitment Fair, the one and only recruiting event gathering all the actors that are involved in developing social & sustainable solutions.

-> More than 20 firms in the Grand Hall until 5pm

-> from 1pm to 2pm, a conference with Enactus on « How to build a meaningfull career ? »

-> from 3pm to 4pm, an Enactus workshop on « How to build a career that suits your values ? »

-> And during the whole afternoon, coffee-debates with professionals and other students on social entrepreneurship
