CEO Africa Forum 2016 in Abidjan

HEC Paris will participate in the 4th edition of the AFRICA CEO FORUM in Abidjan on 21 and 22 March. 

Rodolphe Durand, Professor of Strategy and Business Policy, Academic Director of the SnO Center, is part of the HEC Paris delegation.

He will moderate the plenary session on "Leadership in a challenging world ":

Africa is changing at an unprecedented speed with business opportunities arising everywhere, the technology revolution transforming every industry, and economic uncertainties suddenly shaking up previously solid business plans. In this context, organizations must be agile and adapt quickly. The role of CEO is therefore crucial in setting new goals and managing more demanding stakeholders to maintain success. What are the top priorities leaders should focus on?

  • Technology development, social change, African middle-class expectations; what are the key factors business practice?
  • Leading, strategic planning, inspiring, developing employees… The most important skills of future leaders.
  • Is there a specific African CEO model?

Rodolphe Durand will also moderate the workshop on renewable energies.

Since the first edition in 2012, the AFRICA CEO FORUM has come to be recognized as the foremost event for Africa’s  private sector.
More than 800 participants, including over 500 CEOs from all over the African continent,100 bankers and investors, as well as 200 high-profile African and international VIPs, are expected to attend the AFRICA CEO  FORUM 2016 hosted by Groupe Jeune Afrique in partnership with the African Development Bank and rainbow unlimited.

HEC Paris has been active in Africa for many years and supports the transformation process of private companies and administrations.
