HEC's Executive MBA program welcomed 207 new candidates this March, up more than 7% from last year. As the new term begins, HEC is pleased to announce the addition of the English Track, an optional concentration that reinforces the program's international dimension.

"Today's market demands an English language curriculum tailored to business leaders demonstrating strong international promise," explains Jean-Marc de Leersnyder, Academic Director of the HEC Executive MBA. "Enterprises actively seek graduates with international experience and prospective students are always calling our admissions office to inquire about an English language track."

"The need to stay competitive remains a motivating factor: several new Executive MBA programs and English options have started up in France in the last few years," continues Jean-Marc de Leersnyder. Indeed, the option enriches the HEC offer and gives graduates a distinct advantage with an internationally accredited degree (AMBA, AACSB and Equis). Moreover, it opens up the EMBA to non-French-speaking executives who were previously unable to participate.

The HEC EMBA trains executives to assume leadership positions within their organizations. The program emphasizes strategy and entrepreneurship through a hands-on approach to tackling the dominant issues in today's global economy. Taught by professors and leading experts from HEC Paris and partner schools, the program exposes participants to a diverse range of business practices and cultures. The English Track helps candidates develop the international mindset and global vision that today's business leaders need to drive corporate success.

The Executive MBA is unique in that four of the program's eleven modules are held internationally, in Europe, Asia and the United States. The other seven modules are taught on the HEC campus just outside Paris and are open to non-matriculating executives working in the region.

Fifteen nationalities are represented among the 42 candidates. 21% are women, 26% work outside France and they have an average of 14 years' professional experience.
