HEC and May '68: "Secret d'école"
HEC is holding an exhibition to mark the 40th anniversary of the student protests of May '68. "Secret d'école", organized by Igor Antic, sculptor and HEC artist-in-residence, and Alain Collery, representative of the HEC graduates of 1968, uses video testimonies and documents (posters, photos, press cuttings, official memoranda, student notes, etc.) to present events as they unfurled on the HEC campus. The exhibition will reveal what happened on the peaceful campus of Jouy-en-Josas, 25km from the Latin Quarter, during this period, show how students viewed events, and investigate the impact May '68 has had on the lives of the "barricades" generation. The exhibition will open to the public on May 18 and can be visited by appointment from May 19 to June 20.
Time & Location: May 18-20, 12pm, HEC Campus, 1 rue de la Libération, 78350 Jouy-en-Josas
