On 4 December 2006, the Financial Times published its overall ranking of the top 55 European business schools. HEC Paris was ranked number 1 in Europe, and was the only French school in the European top five. HEC Paris was ranked number 1 in Europe again in December 2007 and 2008.

From all different backgrounds but with three things in common:
A strong quantitative background, great working capacity and a strong desire to work in the world of corporate or market finance.
Given by some of the top French researchers in finance and cutting-edge professionals working in the most prestigious investment banks on European markets
At the start of each year, we conduct a survey of our young graduates to see how much they are earning upon leaving the school. The results of the most recent surveys reveal an average annual salary, including bonuses, for graduates of the MS Finance HEC class of 2006 equal to €68,375, and "only" €59,000 for the class of 2007, which suffered from the recent turmoil of financial markets.
For the first time, we undertook a survey* last fall to gauge the wage of graduates from HEC's MS Finance three years after graduation. The results of this survey show that three years after getting their degree, our alumnis earn on average €118 480 (bonuses included).
* Survey conducted in November, 2007 - median wage = €104 000 (bonuses included) - Rate of response = 52 % of the class of 2004.
