Program overview

This program concentrates on the key areas of leadership, general management and running a company, while at the same time paying close attention to the specific nature of the African continent. The focus on the stakes and challenges of a continent in transition and key sustainable development issues such as managing resources, carbon footprint and social inclusion will enable participants to acquire a greater understanding of new high performing business models that are more sustainable and inclusive.

The program is aimed at:

Leaders or future leaders in the African continent, from all backgrounds. Managing Directors, senior executives and high potential managers working in African companies or international groups, entrepreneurs, administrative executives in the public or para-public sector, managers of associations and NGOs.

Learning methods

This program was co-designed with AFD and two African academic institutions (UM6P in Morocco and UCT in South Africa). It focuses on two key areas: managerial excellence and sustainable development. The program combines academic input, the expertise of HEC Paris in training executives, visits, and an interactive experiential learning approach. The aim of this itinerant program is to inspire participants with the innovative practices of key actors in Africa and apply them in an individual project.
