Handling the financial dimension

Do EBITDA, WCR, ROCE, FREE CASH FLOW, etc. mean little or nothing to you? Understanding the basics of finance is a necessary skill which many of us need to communicate with financiers, present credible company projects or feel at ease within a multi-functional group. This training program will enable you to develop the corporate finance skills which are vital to career development.

Understand financial documents and objectives and be able to analyze a company's financial structure and profitability
Study self-financing methods and external funding options
Identify financial investment criteria for creating value
Improve your communication skillswith financial directors

Program Content

Consists of 4 themes

Theme 1 : Understand basic accounting and financial documents 

Financial statements, financial results, balance sheets, etc. and the links between the different documents.

Theme 2 : Financial audit: performance assessment and the financial potential of the company 

Operations, financial structure, cash flow, WCR management and performance indicator analysis.

Theme 3 : Rationalize investment choices for value creation 

Methods to calculate the financial criteria for value creation and risk.

Theme 4 : Summary: Corporate strategy and finance 

Reinforcing acquired knowledge and connecting strategic options and their financial implications.

You can personalize your study path according to your own needs and resources. You will be awarded an HEC Paris Executive Education certificate after a total of 10 days of training.
