MBA - Responsible Leadership

This course postulates that being responsible is eventually being sustainable; that introducing, at all levels of the organization, the question of responsibility, is key to anchoring purpose and achieving sustainable development and operational excellence. Accordingly, it aims at increasing self-awareness and explore ways to face dilemmas raised by the responsibility imperative: how can we collaborate with internal, external stakeholders and the whole ecosystem to be resilient? How can we share value in a responsible way? How should leaders behave in this VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) context, and how can they pilot the transition? How can they deal with the tension between financial constraints and environmental and social imperatives? In the end, it is about maximizing the individual leadership and achieving transformational impact; about shaping tomorrow’s leaders to build tomorrow’s organizations.

It will enrich our reflections about Purposeful leadership. The spirit of this seminar is to help you crystallize, extract and summarize the main inputs and the key ideas that are beneficial for you depending on your personal situations and stakes. Bénédicte de Beaufort, HEC Paris Affiliate Professor

One of the unique features of this customized program is that it offers participants the chance to spend six sessions (18 hours) working with experienced CEOs:

At individual level:

  • Increased self-awareness of own leadership, and tools to become a responsible leader and a reflective practitioner.
  • Operational solutions to conciliate empathy and efficiency, make better decisions in critical, dilemma situations, and to align personal and corporate purpose.

At organizational level:

  • Manage the tension between environmental, social and economic imperatives.
  • Embed responsibility challenges into governance, global strategy and processes.
