Biography

Emilie Aberola is Affiliate Professor at HEC Paris since September 2010.

She is also the manager of the research unit studying the European Union Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS) in the research team of CDC Climat – a subsidiary of French Public Bank Caisse des Dépôts – dedicated to the fight against the climate change. Emilie is also manager of the Club Tendances Carbone, launched by CDC in collaboration with Climate BlueNext and the Chair of Climate Change Economics of Paris- Dauphine. She joined the Caisse des Dépôts Group in 2005 and has been doing research on carbon markets since that time.

She holds a PhD in economics from Université Paris I and a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development Management from HEC. She has published articles in leading refereed journals, including The Energy Journal, Energy Policy, International Economics, Journal of Policy Modeling... She teaches of climate change Economics for the Energy & Finance Certificate at HEC Paris and for the “Energy-Finance- Carbon” Master’s program at Université Paris Dauphine.
