Management & Human Resources

 Profile picture

Biography

I am a doctoral candidate at HEC Paris with a specialization in Management and Organizations. I expect to complete my Ph.D. degree by June 2022.

My research examines intra- and inter-firm mobility of managerial workers in the modern labor markets. I build on human capital and social evaluation theories to understand how managers move between jobs and assignments, how organizations make their choices in filling vacant positions at the middle and higher hierarchical levels, and how market intermediaries shape talent flows and individual careers. Theoretically, my research seeks to speak to the interdisciplinary research on careers and the literature in economic sociology and strategic human capital. Empirically, my strategy is to leverage rich, large-scale individual mobility data.

My work has been recognized by the AOM Careers Division with the Arnon Reichers 2020 Best Student Paper award and was a finalist for the SMS Strategic Human Capital 2020 Best Interdisciplinary Paper award.
