The Fabulous Journey of Next Generation Computing!
In partnership with Hi! PARIS – Paris Artificial Intelligence for Society & Business, a member of the AI Cluster, and together with the Creative Destruction Lab Paris, which is celebrating 5 years of operation in France, the HEC Paris Innovation & Entrepreneurship Institute is pleased to present the workshop featuring The Fabulous Journey of Next Generation Computing!
What path does data take when we input a prompt into ChatGPT until we receive the generated information? And how is this connected to the next generation of computing? How do technologies like photonic, quantum, and neuromorphic computing apply to data centers, AI innovations, and beyond? And which startups are working in this field?
An immersive and educational experience that visually and scientifically narrates how an AI request from a smartphone travels through a heterogeneous computing system — from quantum and silicon to photonics — showcasing disruptive technologies and the European startups that make them possible.
Moderated by Alex Charbonné (CDL-Paris) and hosted by Orhiane Savarese (HEC Paris Incubator), the session will feature top-tier experts: Fanny Bouton (OVHcloud), Juan Manuel Aguiar (Capgemini Engineering), Carlo Sirtori (École normale supérieure), Michele Dallari (Planckian), Marek Kotelnicki (VIGO Ventures), Alexis Jonville (LumiSync), and Laetitia Bemba-Poindron (Nokia in France).

In partnership with INPI (French Patent and Trademark Office), the HEC Paris Innovation & Entrepreneurship Institute has hand-picked a cohort of promising startups from its flagship programs, including the Incubateur HEC Paris, HEC Challenge+, and CDL-Paris.
These startups are not only aligned with VivaTech’s key themes, but are also strategically engaged with intellectual property as a driver of growth and are ready to scale internationally.
During this Pitch Contest, each startup will have just a few minutes to showcase their vision to a jury of experts from INPI, HEC Paris, WIPO, and EPO.

Spotlight on African Innovation
In partnership with VivaTech, the HEC Paris Innovation & Entrepreneurship Institute is proud to take the stage at AfricaTech to shine a light on the dynamic landscape of entrepreneurship and innovation across the African continent.
This year, we celebrate the 35th anniversary of HEC Challenge+, one of our flagship programs designed to accelerate high-impact ventures. In recent years, the program has extended its reach beyond France, first to Abidjan, and more recently to Dakar, fostering a growing network of ambitious founders and changemakers.
Join us for a session that brings together the ecosystem of entrepreneurs, mentors, and partners built around HEC Challenge+ Africa. We'll explore the challenges, opportunities, and bold ideas shaping the future of the continent, through the lens of the startups leading that transformation.

Super Pitch Korea 2025
Celebrate 140 years of Korea-France relations by discovering 15 of Korea’s most innovative startups at our exclusive pitch session.
This special session presents the forefront of Korea’s creative content, technology, and innovation to a global audience. The event will feature two themed sessions:
- “Lifestyle & Creative Innovation” (Session 1)
- “Smart Tech & Mobility Innovation” (Session 2)
These sessions will highlight a diverse range of startups from consumer services and content to cutting-edge mobility and infrastructure technologies.
