Rich and relevant teaching
The MS/MSc MAC seeks to educate the cultural managers of tomorrow. For 30 years, its main objective has been to give students an exhaustive view on the challenges and practices faced in the creative sector as a whole. High-level managers are required to fully understand the various problems posed when managing a business or a cultural project. Equally, classes cover from time to time the fundamental disciplines of management: strategy, compatibility, managerial control, marketing, statistics and those linked directly to creation: productions rights, finance, and compatibility, the study of the cultural and media industry, production management, marketing and consumption of the arts and creation.
A broad curriculum is coupled with consistently up to date teaching that pays close attention to evolving practices and technologies in the creative sector. The relevance and dynamism of the program is insured by the teaching staff, made up of professors and experts with regular guidance from motivational cultural managers that work for both public and private organizations specializing in:
- Culture : Musée Carnavalet, Centre Georges Pompidou, Festival d’Aix en Provence, Centre National du Cinéma et de l’Image Animée, etc.
- Media and digital media: StudioCancal, Cinémage, etc.
and give a clear look into the challenges and growth in these fields. In addition, sectoral teaching fits in with the transversal approach of the course. The students familiarise themselves with industries and cultural heritage, the arts market, audiovisual media, digital and even video games. This allows them to forge a career around their interests and personal aspirations.
