The Inclusive & Social Business Certificate is open, on selection, to HEC students but also to managers, visiting professors and students from other schools and universities.

This 6-week program takes place every year from end of April to early June.

For free-mover applicants, the selection process differs from that for HEC applicants but the program remains the same.

For the last eleven years, we have welcomed 620 participants from many horizons within HEC, as well as further afield and internationally.

The aim is not for all participants to work in social business, rather to raise awareness of the importance of societal issues in each field, and to be inquisitive about the role and influence of business in society. We value highly motivated candidates from all parts of the community interested in creating positive change in the business world.

To apply for a seat in the Inclusive & Social Business Certificate as a free-mover, please submit your supporting documentation by e-mail.

The application process is open until February 1, 2020

The selection is a 2 phase process:

  • A first selection is made based on the evaluation of your application and supporting documents.
  • The pre-selected candidates will then be invited for a face-to-face or Skype interview.
  • Résumé (CV)
  • Letter of motivation.
  • For all non-native English speakers, proof of English fluency (e.g., TOEFL or TOEIC) or evidence (e.g., transcript) of coursework completed in the English language.

Pre-selected applicants are invited to a 30 minute interview (on campus or Skype). During this interview they are encouraged to discuss their motivation, interests, and goals with professors of the program.

2020 Inclusive & Social Business Certificate tuition fees are €5,000.

Program fees include:

  • full tuition
  • student card
  • weekend bus transportation during the program from campus to Paris.

Program fees do not include:

  • travel to and from HEC Paris for program start and close
  • accommodation
  • personal insurance
  • food
  • personal expenses
  • anything not listed as included.

Several dining options are available. You will have the opportunity to purchase individual meals at the campus restaurant at approximately €6/meal, shop at the neighboring supermarkets or dine in local restaurants or pizzerias in the town of Jouy-en-Josas.

HEC Paris offers the opportunity for free-movers to reside on campus throughout the duration of the certificate in order to take full advantage of campus life. Please be aware that the number of rooms is limited as priority is given to full-time international students.

Student residences are all centrally located within walking distance of classrooms, sports fields and the student cafeteria. Rooms are furnished and equipped including: bed, night table, desk, and closet. On-campus student housing includes a majority of fully independent, single rooms with separate bathrooms and several adjoining single rooms with shared bathrooms.
