HEC Paris shines in the 2018 QS Rankings
The latest World University Rankings, established by QS, celebrate the excellence of the Master’s programs at HEC Paris.
MSc Strategic Management (ranked number 1 worldwide), MSc International Finance (number 3) and MBA (number 3) are each distinguished in their respective categories.
For the first edition of its rankings, the MSc Strategic Management program won first place among 121 competing institutions. The MSc Strategic Management scored a remarkable overall score of 93.6 out of a maximum 100. Among the 5 indicators taken into account by QS, HEC Paris achieved the highest score on the criteria of both alumni outcomes and employability. The program also stood out in the “Thought Leadership” category, which takes into account the academic reputation and the quality of the school’s research.
The Masters in Finance rankings also established for the first time by QS, places HEC’s MSc International Finance in 3rd position worldwide. Here again, the MIF obtained the highest score on the career and employability of its graduates. Furthermore, the MIF ranked among the best programs for the diversity criterion, which took into account the percentages of women and internationals in the program and faculty.
The MBA at HEC Paris also obtained an excellent 3rd place in the QS rankings of the best MBA. The program achieved the maximum score for the employability indicator, and stood out from its competitors for the value for money indicator, which is calculated by balancing tuition fees and living expenses incurred while pursuing the degree with the exit salary earned by graduates.
