HEC Paris at the Women's Forum in Washington DC

The HEC Paris community was in Washington DC on March 30 to honor the long-lasting partnership forged with the Women's Forum. HEC Paris showed its commitment to gender equality and diversity: HEC Paris US Office Executive Director, Vincent Muzelle, and Director of Strategic Projects for the HEC Paris Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center, Emma Cochrane, suggested to the Women’s Forum teams relevant topics to discuss, HEC Alumni speakers and moderators for panels, and HEC students participated in the Youth Voice initiative.

HEC Paris US Office - Women's Forum Washington DC

For its first ever North American session, the Women’s Forum chose to set up in Washington DC. Vincent Muzelle, HEC Paris US Office Executive Director, and Emma Cochrane, Director of Strategic Projects for the HEC Paris Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center, closely collaborated with the Women's Forum teams to suggest relevant topics to discuss, as well as US HEC Alumni speakers and moderators for the different panels that took place.

Furthermore, the local community of HEC students took part in the Youth Voice initiative, during which they had to challenge the speakers and animate the Q&A sessions.

As HEC celebrates in 2023 the 50th anniversary of the opening of the school to women, attending this event was a strong symbol and a signal sent to the world that HEC remains at the forefront of the gender diversity and equality fight.
